Ayat 100
Verse 100
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
أَوَكُلَّمَا عٰهَدُوا۟ عَهْدًا نَّبَذَهُۥ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
١٠٠:اَلبَقَرَةُ

“awa kullamaa ‘aahaduu ‘ahdan nabadzahu fariiqun minhum bal aktsaruhum laa yu/minuuna,”

“Patutkah (mereka ingkar kepada ayat-ayat Allah), dan setiap kali mereka mengikat janji, segolongan mereka melemparkannya? Bahkan sebagian besar dari mereka tidak beriman,”

“Is it ever so that when they make a covenant a party of them set it aside? The truth is, most of them believe not,”


Ayat 101
Verse 101
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ الْكِتٰبَ كِتٰبَ اللهِ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
١٠١:اَلبَقَرَةُ

“walammaa jaa-ahum rasuulun min ‘indi allaahi mushaddiqun limaa ma’ahum nabadza fariiqun mina alladziina uutuu alkitaaba kitaaba allaahi waraa-a zhuhuurihim ka-annahum laa ya’lamuuna,”

“Dan setelah datang kepada mereka seorang Rasul dari sisi Allah yang membenarkan apa (kitab) yang ada pada mereka, sebahagian dari orang-orang yang diberi kitab (Taurat) melemparkan kitab Allah ke belakang (punggung)nya, seolah-olah mereka tidak mengetahui (bahwa itu adalah kitab Allah),”

“And when there cometh unto them a messenger from Allah, confirming that which they possess, a party of those who have received the Scripture fling the Scripture of Allah behind their backs as if they knew not,”


Ayat 102
Verse 102
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَاتَّبَعُوا۟ مَا تَتْلُوا۟ الشَّيٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمٰنَ ۖ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمٰنُ وَلٰكِنَّ الشَّيٰطِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هٰرُوتَ وَمٰرُوتَ ۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَآ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ ۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِۦ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللهِ ۚ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوا۟ لَمَنِ اشْتَرَىٰهُ مَا لَهُۥ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلٰقٍ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
٩٩:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“waittaba’uu maa tatluu alsysyayaathiinu ‘alaa mulki sulaymaana wamaa kafara sulaymaanu walaakinna alsysyayaathiina kafaruu yu’allimuuna alnnaasa alssihra wamaa unzila ‘alaa almalakayni bibaabila haaruuta wamaaruuta wamaa yu’allimaani min ahadin hattaa yaquulaa innamaa nahnu fitnatun falaa takfur fayata’allamuuna minhumaa maa yufarriquuna bihi bayna almar-i wazawjihi wamaa hum bidaarriina bihi min ahadin illaa bi-idzni allaahi wayata’allamuuna maa yadhurruhum walaa yanfa’uhum walaqad ‘alimuu lamani isytaraahu maa lahu fii al-aakhirati min khalaaqin walabi/sa maa syaraw bihi anfusahum law kaanu ya’lamuuna,”
“Dan mereka mengikuti apa yang dibaca oleh syaitan-syaitan pada masa kerajaan Sulaiman (dan mereka mengatakan bahwa Sulaiman itu mengerjakan sihir), padahal Sulaiman tidak kafir (tidak mengerjakan sihir), hanya syaitan-syaitan lah yang kafir (mengerjakan sihir). Mereka mengajarkan sihir kepada manusia dan apa yang diturunkan kepada dua orang malaikat di negeri Babil yaitu Harut dan Marut, sedang keduanya tidak mengajarkan (sesuatu) kepada seorangpun sebelum mengatakan: “Sesungguhnya kami hanya cobaan (bagimu), sebab itu janganlah kamu kafir”. Maka mereka mempelajari dari kedua malaikat itu apa yang dengan sihir itu, mereka dapat menceraikan antara seorang (suami) dengan isterinya. Dan mereka itu (ahli sihir) tidak memberi mudharat dengan sihirnya kepada seorangpun, kecuali dengan izin Allah. Dan mereka mempelajari sesuatu yang tidak memberi mudharat kepadanya dan tidak memberi manfaat. Demi, sesungguhnya mereka telah meyakini bahwa barangsiapa yang menukarnya (kitab Allah) dengan sihir itu, tiadalah baginya keuntungan di akhirat, dan amat jahatlah perbuatan mereka menjual dirinya dengan sihir, kalau mereka mengetahui,”

“And follow that which the devils falsely related against the kingdom of Solomon. Solomon disbelieved not; but the devils disbelieved, teaching mankind magic and that which was revealed to the two angels in Babel, Harut and Marut. Nor did they (the two angels) teach it to anyone till they had said: We are only a temptation, therefore disbelieve not (in the guidance of Allah). And from these two (angles) people learn that by which they cause division between man and wife; but they injure thereby no-one save by Allah’s leave. And they learn that which harmeth them and profiteth them not. And surely they do know that he who trafficketh therein will have no (happy) portion in the Hereafter; and surely evil is the price for which they sell their souls, if they but knew,”

Verse 103
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَاتَّقَوْا۟ لَمَثُوبَةٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ ۖ لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
١٠٣:اَلبَقَرَةُ

“walaw annahum aamanuu waittaqaw lamatsuubatun min ‘indi allaahi khayrun law kaanuu ya’lamuuna,”

“Sesungguhnya kalau mereka beriman dan bertakwa, (niscaya mereka akan mendapat pahala), dan sesungguhnya pahala dari sisi Allah adalah lebih baik, kalau mereka mengetahui,”

“And if they had believed and kept from evil, a recompense from Allah would be better, if they only knew,”


Ayat 104
Verse 104
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
يٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَقُولُوا۟ رٰعِنَا وَقُولُوا۟ انظُرْنَا وَاسْمَعُوا۟ ۗ وَلِلْكٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
١٠٤:اَلبَقَرَةُ

“yaa ayyuhaa alladziina aamanuu laa taquuluu raa’inaa waquuluu unzhurnaa waisma’uu walilkaafiriina ‘adzaabun aliimun,”

“Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu katakan (kepada Muhammad): “Raa’ina”, tetapi katakanlah: “Unzhurna”, dan “dengarlah”. Dan bagi orang-orang yang kafir siksaan yang pedih,”

“O ye who believe, say not (unto the Prophet): “Listen to us” but say “Look upon us,” and be ye listeners. For disbelievers is a painful doom,”


Ayat 105
Verse 105
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
مَّا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَلَا الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۗ وَاللهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَاللهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
١٠٥:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“maa yawaddu alladziina kafaruu min ahli alkitaabi walaa almusyrikiina an yunazzala ‘alaykum min khayrin min rabbikum waallaahu yakhtashshu birahmatihi man yasyaau waallaahu dzuu alfadhli al’azhiimi,”
“Orang-orang kafir dari Ahli Kitab dan orang-orang musyrik tiada menginginkan diturunkannya sesuatu kebaikan kepadamu dari Tuhanmu. Dan Allah menentukan siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya (untuk diberi) rahmat-Nya (kenabian); dan Allah mempunyai karunia yang besar,”

“Neither those who disbelieve among the people of the Scripture nor the idolaters love that there should be sent down unto you any good thing from your Lord. But Allah chooseth for His mercy whom He will, and Allah is of Infinite Bounty,”

اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
مَا نَنسَخْ مِنْ ءَايَةٍ أَوْ نُنسِهَا نَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ مِّنْهَآ أَوْ مِثْلِهَآ ۗ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
١٠٦:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“maa nansakh min aayatin aw nunsihaa na/ti bikhayrin minhaa aw mitslihaa alam ta’lam anna allaaha ‘alaa kulli syay-in qadiirun,”

“Ayat mana saja yang Kami nasakhkan, atau Kami jadikan (manusia) lupa kepadanya, Kami datangkan yang lebih baik daripadanya atau yang sebanding dengannya. Tidakkah kamu mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya Allah Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu?,”

“Apakah kamu menghendaki untuk meminta kepada Rasul kamu seperti Bani Israil meminta kepada Musa pada jaman dahulu? Dan barangsiapa yang menukar iman dengan kekafiran, maka sungguh orang itu telah sesat dari jalan yang lurus,”

Ayat 109
Verse 109
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَدَّ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ إِيمٰنِكُمْ كُفَّارًا حَسَدًا مِّنْ عِندِ أَنفُسِهِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ ۖ فَاعْفُوا۟ وَاصْفَحُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِىَ اللهُ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّ اللهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
١٠٩:اَلبَقَرَةُ

“wadda katsiirun min ahli alkitaabi law yarudduunakum min ba’di iimaanikum kuffaaran hasadan min ‘indi anfusihim min ba’di maa tabayyana lahumu alhaqqu fau’fuu waishfahuu hattaa ya/tiya allaahu bi-amrihi inna allaaha ‘alaa kulli syay-in qadiirun,”

“Sebahagian besar Ahli Kitab menginginkan agar mereka dapat mengembalikan kamu kepada kekafiran setelah kamu beriman, karena dengki yang (timbul) dari diri mereka sendiri, setelah nyata bagi mereka kebenaran. Maka maafkanlah dan biarkanlah mereka, sampai Allah mendatangkan perintah-Nya. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu,”

“Many of the people of the Scripture long to make you disbelievers after your belief, through envy on their own account, after the truth hath become manifest unto them. Forgive and be indulgent (toward them) until Allah give command. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things,”


Ayat 110
Verse 110
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَأَقِيمُوا۟ الصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ الزَّكَوٰةَ ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
١١٠:اَلبَقَرَةُ

“wa-aqiimuu alshshalaata waaatuu alzzakaata wamaa tuqaddimuu li-anfusikum min khayrin tajiduuhu ‘inda allaahi inna allaaha bimaa ta’maluuna bashiirun,”

“Dan dirikanlah shalat dan tunaikanlah zakat. Dan kebaikan apa saja yang kamu usahakan bagi dirimu, tentu kamu akan mendapat pahala nya pada sisi Allah. Sesungguhnya Alah Maha Melihat apa-apa yang kamu kerjakan,”

“Establish worship, and pay the poor-due; and whatever of good ye send before (you) for your souls, ye will find it with Allah. Lo! Allah is Seer of what ye do,”


Ayat 111
Verse 111
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَقَالُوا۟ لَن يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مَن كَانَ هُودًا أَوْ نَصٰرَىٰ ۗ تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ ۗ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صٰدِقِينَ
١١١:اَلبَقَرَةُ

“waqaaluu lan yadkhula aljannata illaa man kaana huudan aw nashaaraa tilka amaaniyyuhum qul haatuu burhaanakum in kuntum shaadiqiina,”
“Dan mereka (Yahudi dan Nasrani) berkata: “Sekali-kali tidak akan masuk surga kecuali orang-orang (yang beragama) Yahudi atau Nasrani”. Demikian itu (hanya) angan-angan mereka yang kosong belaka. Katakanlah: “Tunjukkanlah bukti kebenaranmu jika kamu adalah orang yang benar”,”

“And they say: None entereth paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian. These are their own desires. Say: Bring your proof (of what ye state) if ye are truthful,”

Ayat 112
Verse 112
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُۥ لِلَّـهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهُۥٓ أَجْرُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
١١٢:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“balaa man aslama wajhahu lillaahi wahuwa muhsinun falahu ajruhu ‘inda rabbihi walaa khawfun ‘alayhim walaa hum yahzanuuna,”

“(Tidak demikian) bahkan barangsiapa yang menyerahkan diri kepada Allah, sedang ia berbuat kebajikan, maka baginya pahala pada sisi Tuhannya dan tidak ada kekhawatiran terhadap mereka dan tidak (pula) mereka bersedih hati,”

“Nay, but whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good, his reward is with his Lord; and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve,”


Ayat 113
Verse 113
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ لَيْسَتِ النَّصٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ وَقَالَتِ النَّصٰرَىٰ لَيْسَتِ الْيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ وَهُمْ يَتْلُونَ الْكِتٰبَ ۗ كَذٰلِكَ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۚ فَاللهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
١١٣:اَلبَقَرَةُ

“waqaalati alyahuudu laysati alnnashaaraa ‘alaa syay-in waqaalati alnnashaaraa laysati alyahuudu ‘alaa syay-in wahum yatluuna alkitaaba kadzaalika qaala alladziina laa ya’lamuuna mitsla qawlihim faallaahu yahkumu baynahum yawma alqiyaamati fiimaa kaanuu fiihi yakhtalifuuna,”

“Dan orang-orang Yahudi berkata: “Orang-orang Nasrani itu tidak mempunyai suatu pegangan”, dan orang-orang Nasrani berkata: “Orang-orang Yahudi tidak mempunyai sesuatu pegangan,” padahal mereka (sama-sama) membaca Al Kitab. Demikian pula orang-orang yang tidak mengetahui, mengatakan seperti ucapan mereka itu. Maka Allah akan mengadili diantara mereka pada hari Kiamat, tentang apa-apa yang mereka berselisih padanya,”

“And the Jews say the Christians follow nothing (true), and the Christians say the Jews follow nothing (true); yet both are readers of the Scripture. Even thus speak those who know not. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they differ,”


Ayat 114
Verse 114
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسٰجِدَ اللهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُۥ وَسَعَىٰ فِى خَرَابِهَآ ۚ أُو۟لٰٓئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَآ إِلَّا خَآئِفِينَ ۚ لَهُمْ فِى الدُّنْيَا خِزْىٌ وَلَهُمْ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
١١٤:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“waman azhlamu mimman mana’a masaajida allaahi an yudzkara fiihaa ismuhu wasa’aa fii kharaabihaa ulaa-ika maa kaana lahum an yadkhuluuhaa illaa khaa-ifiina lahum fii alddunyaa khizyun walahum fii al-aakhirati ‘adzaabun ‘azhiimun,”
“Dan siapakah yang lebih aniaya daripada orang yang menghalanghalangi menyebut nama Allah dalam mesjid-mesjid-Nya, dan berusaha untuk merobohkannya? Mereka itu tidak sepatutnya masuk ke dalamnya (mesjid Allah), kecuali dengan rasa takut (kepada Allah). Mereka di dunia mendapat kehinaan dan di akhirat mendapat siksa yang berat,”

“And who doth greater wrong than he who forbiddeth the approach to the sanctuaries of Allah lest His name should be mentioned therein, and striveth for their ruin. As for such, it was never meant that they should enter them except in fear. Theirs in the world is ignominy and theirs in the Hereafter is an awful doom,”
