اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ
مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ

فَقُلْنَا
اضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا ۚ كَذٰلِكَ يُحْىِ اللهُ الْمَوْتَىٰ وَيُرِيكُمْ
ءَايٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
٧٣:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“faqulnaa idhribuuhu biba’dhihaa kadzaalika yuhyii
allaahu almawtaa wayuriikum aayaatihi la’allakum ta’qiluuna,”
“Lalu
Kami berfirman: “Pukullah mayat itu dengan sebahagian anggota sapi betina itu
!” Demikianlah Allah menghidupkan kembali orang-orang yang telah mati, dam
memperlihatkan padamu tanda-tanda kekuasaan-Nya agar kamu mengerti,”

We said: Smite him with some of it. Thus Allah bringeth the dead to life and
showeth you His portents so that ye may understand,”

74
Verse 74
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ
مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ
الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
ثُمَّ
قَسَتْ قُلُوبُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ فَهِىَ كَالْحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ
قَسْوَةً ۚ وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الْأَنْهٰرُ ۚ
وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الْمَآءُ ۚ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا
لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللهِ ۗ وَمَا اللهُ بِغٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
٧٤:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“tsumma qasat quluubukum min ba’di dzaalika fahiya
kaalhijaarati aw asyaddu qaswatan wa-inna mina alhijaarati lamaa yatafajjaru
minhu al-anhaaru wa-inna minhaa lamaa yasysyaqqaqu fayakhruju minhu almaau
wa-inna minhaa lamaa yahbithu min khasyyati allaahi wamaa allaahu bighaafilin
‘ammaa ta’maluuna,”
“Kemudian
setelah itu hatimu menjadi keras seperti batu, bahkan lebih keras lagi. Padahal
diantara batu-batu itu sungguh ada yang mengalir sungai-sungai dari padanya dan
diantaranya sungguh ada yang terbelah lalu keluarlah mata air dari padanya dan
diantaranya sungguh ada yang meluncur jatuh, karena takut kepada Allah. Dan
Allah sekali-sekali tidak lengah dari apa yang kamu kerjakan,”
“Then,
even after that, your hearts were hardened and became as rocks, or worse than
rocks, for hardness. For indeed there are rocks from out which rivers gush, and
indeed there are rocks which split asunder so that water floweth from them. And
indeed there are rocks which fall down for the fear of Allah. Allah is not
unaware of what ye do,”

ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
٧٥:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“afatathma’uuna an yu/minuu lakum waqad kaana fariiqun
minhum yasma’uuna kalaama allaahi tsumma yuharrifuunahu min ba’di maa ‘aqaluuhu
wahum ya’lamuuna,”
“ Apakah
kamu masih mengharapkan mereka akan percaya kepadamu, padahal segolongan dari mereka
mendengar firman Allah, lalu mereka mengubahnya setelah mereka memahaminya,
sedang mereka mengetahui?,”
“Have
ye any hope that they will be true to you when a party of them used to listen
to the word of Allah, then used to change it, after they had understood it,

لَقُوا۟ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ
إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ اللهُ عَلَيْكُمْ
لِيُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِۦ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
٧٦:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“wa-idzaa laquu alladziina aamanuu qaaluu aamannaa
wa-idzaa khalaa ba’dhuhum ilaa ba’dhin qaaluu atuhadditsuunahum bimaa fataha
allaahu ‘alaykum liyuhaajjuukum bihi ‘inda rabbikum afalaa ta’qiluuna,”
“Dan
apabila mereka berjumpa dengan orang-orang yang beriman, mereka berkata:
“Kamipun telah beriman,” tetapi apabila mereka berada sesama mereka saja, lalu
mereka berkata: “Apakah kamu menceritakan kepada mereka (orang-orang mukmin)
apa yang telah diterangkan Allah kepadamu, supaya dengan demikian mereka dapat
mengalahkan hujjahmu di hadapan Tuhanmu; tidakkah kamu mengerti?”,”

when they fall in with those who believe, they say: We believe. But when they
go apart one with another they say: Prate ye to them of that which Allah hath
disclosed to you that they may contend with you before your Lord concerning it?
Have ye then no sense?,”

اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ

يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اللهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ

“Tidakkah
mereka mengetahui bahwa Allah mengetahui segala yang mereka sembunyikan dan

لِّلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ الْكِتٰبَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هٰذَا مِنْ
عِندِ اللهِ لِيَشْتَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۖ فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا
كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُونَ
٧٩:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“fawaylun lilladziina yaktubuuna alkitaaba bi-aydiihim
tsumma yaquuluuna haadzaa min ‘indi allaahi liyasytaruu bihi tsamanan qaliilan
fawaylun lahum mimmaa katabat aydiihim wawaylun lahum mimmaa yaksibuuna,”
“Maka
kecelakaan yAng besarlah bagi orang-orang yang menulis Al Kitab dengan tangan
mereka sendiri, lalu dikatakannya; “Ini dari Allah”, (dengan maksud) untuk
memperoleh keuntungan yang sedikit dengan perbuatan itu. Maka kecelakaan yang
besarlah bagi mereka, akibat apa yang ditulis oleh tangan mereka sendiri, dan
kecelakaan yang besarlah bagi mereka, akibat apa yang mereka kerjakan,”

is from Allah,” that they may purchase a small gain therewith. Woe unto them

اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ

عِندَ اللهِ عَهْدًا فَلَن يُخْلِفَ اللهُ عَهْدَهُۥٓ ۖ أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى
اللهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
٨٠:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“waqaaluu lan tamassanaa alnnaaru illaa ayyaaman
ma’duudatan qul attakhadztum ‘inda allaahi ‘ahdan falan yukhlifa allaahu
‘ahdahu am taquuluuna ‘alaa allaahi maa laa ta’lamuuna,”

mereka berkata: “Kami sekali-kali tidak akan disentuh oleh api neraka, kecuali
selama beberapa hari saja”. Katakanlah: “Sudahkah kamu menerima janji dari
Allah sehingga Allah tidak akan memungkiri janji-Nya, ataukah kamu hanya
mengatakan terhadap Allah apa yang tidak kamu ketahui?”,”

اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ
مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ

وَالَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ الصّٰلِحٰتِ أُو۟لٰٓئِكَ أَصْحٰبُ الْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ
فِيهَا خٰلِدُونَ
٨٢:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“waalladziina aamanuu wa’amiluu alshshaalihaati
ulaa-ika ash-haabu aljannati hum fiihaa khaaliduuna,”
“Dan
orang-orang yang beriman serta beramal saleh, mereka itu penghuni surga; mereka
kekal di dalamnya,”
“And
those who believe and do good works: such are rightful owners of the Garden.
They will abide therein,”

اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ

أَخَذْنَا مِيثٰقَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرٰٓءِيلَ لَا تَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا اللهَ
وَبِالْوٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَذِى الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتٰمَىٰ وَالْمَسٰكِينِ
وَقُولُوا۟ لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا وَأَقِيمُوا۟ الصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ الزَّكَوٰةَ
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّنكُمْ وَأَنتُم مُّعْرِضُونَ
٨٣:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“wa-idz akhadznaa miitsaaqa banii israa-iila laa
ta’buduuna illaa allaaha wabialwaalidayni ihsaanan wadzii alqurbaa waalyataamaa
waalmasaakiini waquuluu lilnnaasi husnan wa-aqiimuu alshshalaata waaatuu
alzzakaata tsumma tawallaytum illaa qaliilan minkum wa-antum mu’ridhuuna,”
“Dan
(ingatlah), ketika Kami mengambil janji dari Bani Israil (yaitu): Janganlah
kamu menyembah selain Allah, dan berbuat kebaikanlah kepada ibu bapa, kaum
kerabat, anak-anak yatim, dan orang-orang miskin, serta ucapkanlah kata-kata
yang baik kepada manusia, dirikanlah shalat dan tunaikanlah zakat. Kemudian
kamu tidak memenuhi janji itu, kecuali sebahagian kecil daripada kamu, dan kamu
selalu berpaling,”

Worship none save Allah (only), and be good to parents and to kindred and to
orphans and the needy, and speak kindly to mankind; and establish worship and
pay the poor-due. Then, after that, ye slid back, save a few of you, being

85
Verse 85
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ
مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ
الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
ثُمَّ
أَنتُمْ هٰٓؤُلَآءِ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُونَ فَرِيقًا مِّنكُم مِّن
دِيٰرِهِمْ تَظٰهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوٰنِ وَإِن يَأْتُوكُمْ
أُسٰرَىٰ تُفٰدُوهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ إِخْرَاجُهُمْ ۚ
أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتٰبِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍ ۚ فَمَا جَزَآءُ مَن
يَفْعَلُ ذٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلَّا خِزْىٌ فِى الْحَيَوٰةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَيَوْمَ
الْقِيٰمَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَشَدِّ الْعَذَابِ ۗ وَمَا اللهُ بِغٰفِلٍ عَمَّا
تَعْمَلُونَ
٨٥:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“tsumma antum haaulaa-i taqtuluuna anfusakum
watukhrijuuna fariiqan minkum min diyaarihim tazhaaharuuna ‘alayhim bial-itsmi
waal’udwaani wa-in ya/tuukum usaaraa tufaaduuhum wahuwa muharramun ‘alaykum
ikhraajuhum afatu/minuuna biba’dhi alkitaabi watakfuruuna biba’dhin famaa
jazaau man yaf’alu dzaalika minkum illaa khizyun fii alhayaati alddunyaa
wayawma alqiyaamati yuradduuna ilaa asyaddi al’adzaabi wamaa allaahu
bighaafilin ‘ammaa ta’maluuna,”
“Kemudian
kamu (Bani Israil) membunuh dirimu (saudaramu sebangsa) dan mengusir segolongan
daripada kamu dari kampung halamannya, kamu bantu membantu terhadap mereka
dengan membuat dosa dan permusuhan; tetapi jika mereka datang kepadamu sebagai
tawanan, kamu tebus mereka, padahal mengusir mereka itu (juga) terlarang
bagimu. Apakah kamu beriman kepada sebahagian Al Kitab (Taurat) dan ingkar
terhadap sebahagian yang lain? Tiadalah balasan bagi orang yang berbuat
demikian daripadamu, melainkan kenistaan dalam kehidupan dunia, dan pada hari
kiamat mereka dikembalikan kepada siksa yang sangat berat. Allah tidak lengah
dari apa yang kamu perbuat,”
“Yet
ye it is who slay each other and drive out a party of your people from their
homes, supporting one another against them by sin and transgression? – and if
they came to you as captives ye would ransom them, whereas their expulsion was
itself unlawful for you – Believe ye in part of the Scripture and disbelieve ye
in part thereof? And what is the reward of those who do so save ignominy in the
life of the world, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be consigned to the
most grievous doom. For Allah is not unaware of what ye do,”
Ayat
86
Verse 86
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ
مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ
الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
أُو۟لٰٓئِكَ
الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا۟ الْحَيَوٰةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْاٰخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ
عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
٨٦:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“ulaa-ika alladziina isytarawuu alhayaata alddunyaa
bial-aakhirati falaa yukhaffafu ‘anhumu al’adzaabu walaa hum yunsharuuna,”
“Itulah
orang-orang yang membeli kehidupan dunia dengan (kehidupan) akhirat, maka tidak
akan diringankan siksa mereka dan mereka tidak akan ditolong,”
“Such
are those who buy the life of the world at the price of the Hereafter. Their punishment
will not be lightened, neither will they have support,”
Ayat
87
Verse 87
اَعُوْذُبِاللهِ
مِنَ الشَيْطَانِ الرَجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ
الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَلَقَدْ
ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتٰبَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ بِالرُّسُلِ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَا
عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنٰتِ وَأَيَّدْنٰهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ ۗ
أَفَكُلَّمَا جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولٌۢ بِمَا لَا تَهْوَىٰٓ أَنفُسُكُمُ اسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ
فَفَرِيقًا كَذَّبْتُمْ وَفَرِيقًا تَقْتُلُونَ
٨٧:اَلبَقَرَةُ
“walaqad aataynaa muusaa alkitaaba waqaffaynaa min
ba’dihi bialrrusuli waaataynaa ‘iisaa ibna maryama albayyinaati wa-ayyadnaahu
biruuhi alqudusi afakullamaa jaa-akum rasuulun bimaa laa tahwaa anfusukumu
istakbartum fafariiqan kadzdzabtum wafariiqan taqtuluuna,”
“Dan
sesungguhnya Kami telah mendatangkan Al Kitab (Taurat) kepada Musa, dan Kami
telah menyusulinya (berturut-turut) sesudah itu dengan rasul-rasul, dan telah
Kami berikan bukti-bukti kebenaran (mukjizat) kepada Isa putera Maryam dan Kami
memperkuatnya dengan Ruhul Qudus. Apakah setiap datang kepadamu seorang rasul
membawa sesuatu (pelajaran) yang tidak sesuai dengan keinginanmu lalu kamu
menyombong; maka beberapa orang (diantara mereka) kamu dustakan dan beberapa
orang (yang lain) kamu bunuh?,”
“And
verily We gave unto Moses the Scripture and We caused a train of messengers to
follow after him, and We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs (of Allah’s
sovereignty), and We supported him with the Holy spirit. Is it ever so, that,
when there cometh unto you a messenger (from Allah) with that which ye
yourselves desire not, ye grow arrogant, and some ye disbelieve and some ye
slay?,”
