Survei Geologi,

Survei geologi adalah penyelidikan sistematis terhadap kondisi geologi di bawah tanah untuk membuat peta atau model geologi. Survei geologi dilakukan untuk memahami kondisi geologi dan geoteknik di suatu area. 

Tujuan survei geologi 

·      Membuat peta atau model geologi

·      Mengetahui struktur fisik batuan yang membentuk lapisan kerak bumi

·      Menentukan umur dan urutan kronologis batuan sedimen

·      Mengetahui posisi struktur yang mengandung minyak

·      Memahami kondisi geologi dan geoteknik di area tersebut

Manfaat survei geologi

·      Sebagai dasar untuk perencanaan, desain, dan konstruksi proyek-proyek seperti bangunan, jembatan, terowongan, atau infrastruktur lainnya 

·      Sebagai tahap pendahuluan dalam proses pencarian minyak 

Pusat Survei Geologi

·      Pusat Survei Geologi merupakan unit teknis di bawah Badan Geologi, Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral 

·      Pusat Survei Geologi melakukan penyelidikan, pelayanan, dan survei di bidang pemetaan, geosains, serta sumber daya minyak dan gas bumi 

·      Pusat Survei Geologi juga menyelenggarakan layanan publik peta berbasis IoT (Internet of Things) yang disebut GeoMap

Geological Survey

• The Geological Survey Center conducts investigations, services, and surveys in the fields of mapping, geoscience, and oil and gas resources.

• The Geological Survey Center also provides an IoT (Internet of Things)-based public map service called GeoMap
