LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

NUMBER 11 OF 1967

CONCERNING

BASIC PROVISIONS ON MINING

 

Dengan persetujuan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Gotong Royong;

With the approval of the Gotong Royong House of Representatives;

 

Memutuskan :

I. Mencabut Undang-undang No. 37 Prp tahun 1960 tentang Pertambangan (Lembaran-Negara tahun 1960 No. 119).

II. Menetapkan: UNDANG-UNDANG TENTANG KETENTUAN-KETENTUAN POKOK PERTAMBANGAN.

Decides:

I. To revoke Law No. 37 Prp of 1960 concerning Mining (State Gazette of 1960 No. 119).

II. To enact: LAW CONCERNING BASIC PROVISIONS ON MINING.

Mastery of minerals

 

Semua bahan galian yang terdapat dalam wilayah hukum pertambangan Indonesia yang merupakan endapan-endapan alam sebagai karunia Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, adalah kekayaan Nasional bangsa Indonesia dan oleh karenanya dikuasai dan dipergunakan oleh Negara untuk sebesar-besar kemakmuran Rakyat.

All mineral resources found within Indonesia's mining jurisdiction—constituting natural deposits bestowed by God Almighty—are the national wealth of the Indonesian people and are, therefore, controlled and utilized by the State for the greatest possible prosperity of the people.
