e) Jaminan Reklamasi tahap Eksplorasi ditempatkan dalam bentuk mata uang Rupiah atau Dolar Amerika Serikat.

f) Direktur Jenderal atas nama Menteri atau gubernur sesuai dengan kewenangannya dapat memerintahkan pemegang IUP Eksplorasi dan IUPK Eksplorasi untuk mengubah jumlah jaminan Reklamasi tahap Eksplorasi apabila:

(1) terjadi perubahan atas rencana Eksplorasi; atau

(2) biaya pelaksanaan Reklamasi tahap Eksplorasi tidak sesuai dengan rencana Reklamasi tahap Eksplorasi.

g) Penempatan Jaminan Reklamasi tahap Eksplorasi tidak menghilangkan kewajiban pemegang IUP Eksplorasi dan IUPK Eksplorasi untuk melaksanakan Reklamasi. (halaman 239)

h) Kekurangan biaya untuk menyelesaikan Reklamasi tahap Eksplorasi dari jaminan yang telah ditetapkan, tetap menjadi tanggung jawab pemegang IUP Eksplorasi atau IUPK Eksplorasi.

e) The Exploration Reclamation Guarantee is placed in Rupiah or United States Dollars.

f) The Director General, on behalf of the Minister or governor, in accordance with their authority, may instruct the holder of an Exploration Mining Business Permit or a Special Exploration Mining Business Permit to change the amount of the Exploration Reclamation Guarantee if:

(1) there is a change to the Exploration plan; or

(2) the costs of implementing the Exploration Reclamation do not align with the Exploration Reclamation plan.

g) Placing the Exploration Reclamation Guarantee does not relieve the holder of the Exploration Mining Business Permit or Special Exploration Mining Business Permit from the obligation to carry out Reclamation. (page 239)

h) Any shortfall in funds to complete the Exploration Reclamation beyond the stipulated guarantee remains the responsibility of the holder of the Exploration Mining Business Permit or Special Exploration Mining Business Permit.
