Pengembangan.

Biocrete berasal
dari kata latin bios dan crete (kata Inggris concrete), artinya spesi beton atau plesteran. Istilah biocrete ini dimaksudkan sebagai penciri
penggunaan spesi antara ijuk, pasir, dan semen yang dijadikan pelapis penutup
dinding lereng pematang tambak/saluran pada pembangunan tambak udang di lahan
berpasir.
Biocrete comes from the Latin word
bios and crete (English word concrete), meaning concrete or plastered
specimens. The term biocrete is intended to characterize the use of specimens
between palm fiber, sand, and cement which are used as a covering wall of bund slope
of pond / channel in the construction of shrimp ponds in sandy areas.
Sistem
tambak biocrete ini dikembangkan atas
dasar beberapa pertimbangan, antara lain :
This biocrete pond system was
developed on the basis of several considerations, including :
1.1.1. Lahan tambak udang di areal hutan mangrove
kurang mantap dalam menunjang kelestarian/kepastian saluran sistem produksi
lahan tambak udang ke arena penurunan kualitas dasar tambak.
1.1.1. The
area of shrimp ponds in mangrove forest area is less steady in supporting the
sustainability / certainty of production system channel of shrimp farming area
to the arena of pond bottom quality reduction.
1.1.2. Tanah pasir yang didominasi oleh partikel pasir, pada
dasarnya miskin bahan organik serta
bukan merupakan habitat mikroba organik patogen sehingga cukup baik sebagai substrat tambak udang.
1.1.2. Sand land dominated by sand particles,
basically poor organic material and not a habitat of pathogens organic
microbial so good enough as shrimp pond substrate.
1.1.3. Tanah pasir umumnya tidak produktif untuk usaha
tanaman pangan, maka apabila dimanfaatkan sebagai lahan tambak akan
meningkatkan nilai guna lahan.
1.1.3. Sand
land is generally unproductive for food crops, so if used as a pond land will
increase the value of land use.
1.1.4. Pengembangan tambak udang di lahan pasir
akan membantu dalam mengurangi kemungkinan tekanan ekologi hutan mangrove akibat dikonversikan sebagai
tambak udang.
1.1.4. The
development of shrimp ponds on sand lands will help in reducing the possibility
of ecological pressures of mangrove forests as a result of conversion to shrimp
ponds.
2. Tambak sistem
Resirkulasi Tertutup.
2. Closed Recirculation System Pond.
Yang
dimaksud dengan sistem resirkulasi tertutup adalah suatu cara pengelolaan
tambak udang dengan cara mengisolasi unit tambak yang digunakan untuk kegiatan
budidaya dari perairan luar. Selama proses budidaya tidak dilakukan pemasukan
air dari luar unit tambak yang dikelola. Pengisian air dari luar tambak
dilakukan satu kali saja, kecuali bila terjadi penurunan kuantitas air yang
disebabkan oleh kebocoran ataupun penguapan. Tujuan penerapan sistem ini adalah
mencegah terjadinya kontaminasi limbah ke dalam petakan pemeliharaan yang
berasal dari luar, misalnya ini didasarkan atas kenyataan di lapangan bahwa
penurunan kualitas lingkungan pesisir akibat dari pembuangan berbagai limbah.
What is meant by a closed
recirculation system is a way of managing shrimp ponds by isolating pond units
used for aquaculture activities from outer waters. During the cultivation
process there is no imported water from outside the managed pond unit. Water
filling from outside the pond is done once, except when there is a decrease in
water quantity caused by leakage or evaporation. The purpose of implementing
this system is to prevent the occurrence of waste contamination into
out-of-breeding maintenance rings, for example it is based on the on-site
realities that the deterioration of coastal environmental quality results from
the disposal of various wastes.
Prinsip
kerja dari sistem resirkulasi tertutup ini adalah bahwa limbah yang berasal
dari petakan pemeliharaan dialirkan ke petakan pengendapan, setelah
partikel-partikel mengendap kemudian diberi perlakuan (treated) agar kualitas air yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih baik dari
sebelumnya. Di dalam petakan treatment
ini air dikapur, diberi pupuk dan perlakuan lainnya agar kualitas sesuai dengan
persyaratan bagi budidaya. Air hasil treatment
tersebut kemudian dialirkan lagi ke petak pemeliharaan udang.
The
working principle of this closed recirculation system is that the waste coming
from the maintenance plots is flowed into the sedimentation plot, after the
particles settle and then treated for the resulting water quality to be better
than before. In the course of this treatment the water is chalked, given
fertilizer and other treatments for quality in accordance with the requirements
for cultivation. Treatment result water is then channeled again to the shrimp
maintenance field.

Mata Kuliah, akan halnya evolusi mata kuliah Perikanan DAS (Daerah Aliran Sungai), evolusi
