Bencana Geologi Longsor,

Bencana geologi longsor adalah perpindahan tanah atau batuan ke bawah atau keluar lereng. Longsor dapat terjadi karena gaya pendorong pada lereng lebih besar daripada gaya penahan. 

Penyebab longsor curah hujan tinggi dan intensitas yang lama, Perusakan lahan, Penggundulan hutan, Tidak adanya pelindung tanah secara memadai, Aktivitas gunung berapi. 

Dampak longsor 

·      Kerusakan bangunan, seperti perkantoran, perumahan, dan tempat ibadah

·      Kerusakan fasilitas umum seperti jalan, jembatan, dan lainnya

·      Aktivitas manusia terhambat

·      Merugikan baik masyarakat di sekitar bencana maupun pemerintah

Mitigasi longsor

·      Melakukan berbagai macam cara pencegahan sehingga kerusakan yang ditimbulkan dapat diminimalisir 

·      Melakukan pemantauan visual dan instrumental terhadap gerakan tanah 

·      Menyampaikan data yang berkaitan dengan evaluasi geologi dan pemantauan terhadap potensi gerakan tanah kepada pemda dan pihak terkait lainnya di daerah
