Air merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok masyarakat di desa, kelebihan maupun kekurangan air dapat membawa bencana. Oleh karena itu keberadaan air di desa perlu dikendalikan dan dimanfaatkan seefektif mungkin, sehingga tidak membawa dampak yang negatif.

Water is one of the basic needs of the community in the village, the advantages and disadvantages of water can bring disaster. Therefore, the presence of water in the village should be controlled and utilized as effectively as possible, so as not to bring a negative impact.

Keberadaan air di desa perlu diusahakan agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan suatu masyarakat di desa, baik secara langsung maupun secara tidak langsung. Kebutuhan air untuk kebutuhan hidup sehari – hari penduduk di masyarakat desa, jika ditinjau dari kualitasnya, masih banyak air di suatu desa yang kualitasnya di bawah standar pada umumnya.

Oleh karena kebutuhan air di masyarakat desa sangat penting untuk kelangsungan dan kebutuhan masyarakat, maka masyarakat desa perlu bersikap hati – hati dalam pemanfaatan air, semakin hari semakin banyak air yang dibutuhkan untuk keperluan hidup sehari – hari, selain itu kita juga sebagai warga masyarakat desa harus menyadari dan mengetahui bahwa tidak semua desa di daerah kita ini mempunyai persediaan air yang sama.
